David Ellis is President of Ellis Webvertising, which operates Northshore Links, GNO Links, Baton Rouge Links, and Acadiana Links — as well as the 24-hour news site The World Daily.

A New Orleans native, David grew up in Covington, and now lives in Mandeville with his wife Susan and their two children, Bradley and Caroline.

David is a Baylor graduate, and also holds an MBA from LSU.  While completing his MBA, David began his career with Gilsbar, Inc., as an award-winning Top Producer, selling health insurance in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.  David then spent two years in Chicago working for IBM as a Financial Analyst, followed by two years as a Senior Financial Accountant at IBM's New York office.

After four years with IBM, David returned to St. Tammany to raise his family and work in his father’s insurance company, Robert Ellis & Associates, where his energies have been focused on growth and development, helping the business succeed via direct sales and account management.  David holds a number of insurance industry certifications, and has accumulated ten years of experience in the health insurance industry.

David is also actively involved in our our community.  He currently serves as the St. Tammany West Chamber’s representative on the Mandeville Municipal Civil Service Board.  He has served on the Chamber Ambassadors Council, and is the past Chairman of the Chamber’s Health Insurance Task Force.  David is also involved in leadership roles with other local associations.

In 2008, David participated in the 'Leadership St. Tammany' program, an annual training experience designed to encourage and equip leaders in our community.  David's commitment to service goes back to his years as a Boy Scout, where he attained the rank of Eagle Scout.

In 2010, David was unanimously elected as the Board Secretary for the Covington Three Rivers Art Festival. He was also voted in as the newest Board Member of the Alumni Foundation of Leadership St. Tammany, and recently directed a project to redesign the LSTAF web site.

Being actively involved in our community, and inspired by his 'Leadership St. Tammany' experience, David founded
Northshore Links, GNO Links, Baton Rouge Links and Acadiana Links with an emphasis on local awareness, service, and leadership.  Ellis Webvertising is proud to contribute 5% of total revenue to local non-profit organizations serving our community.
